WILL NEVER RETURN
I was in Butler for a family funeral, at which I was required to speak. It was greatly important that I be rested and prepared to speak the next morning at the funeral. I did not sleep at all that night. We arrived late due to travel. Just as I was about to fall asleep, which was difficult due to the noise from other guests, etc., I noticed that it was very cold in the room. When I investigated, I found that we had lost power (and thus heat). After putting on more clothes,etc. to stay warm, I was again just about to fall asleep. Then the fire alarm sounded, which continued for approx. 40 minutes, but seemed like an eternity. I attempted to resolve the bill with the manager at checkout, but was told he was unavailable. I informed the front desk personnel of my complete dissatisfaction, and that I would not be paying for the room, and that having not been able to resolve it with the hotel, I would be disputing it with my credit card. I will be in contact with you soon........ I do not intend to pay for being kept up all night in a cold room.............I would literally have had a better night outside in the car.
