Great Inn and Excellant Breakfast!
I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed staying at the Inn the three days we were there. The staff was very nice and accommodating and the gourmet breakfast that was cooked for us each morning was excellent! We had to travel one day to the beach, another day to Orange Park and then the airport so this was the perfect central place to stay with easy acess to the interstates.

Very Comfortable
If you like old houses, this is a must. The Inn at Oak Street is one of the oldest houses in Jacksonville that was renovated into a B&B. The charm, luxury, and breakfast is worth the not-unreasonable cost. A B&B I would (and have already) recommended to friends.

Well be back!
Upon arrival, we were greeted by the innkeeper himself. The owner gave us an impromptu tour of the premises explaining all the renovations and the history of the house---fascinating! A lot of sweat, hard work, and dedication went into the house. And, it shows! The B&B is located a block away from an array of shops and restaurants in one direction and a sweeping expanse of magnificent homes built after the fire of 1902 on "The Row." Strolling the area is mandatory. Accommodations were perfect! We stayed in the "1854 Room" which originally was intended to be known as the "1845 Room"---a twist that remains today. Little tidbits like that made us feel right at home. Breakfast was delish. A strawberry parfait followed by banana walnut pancakes with pecans---a killer! Were coming back!
