Not a 4-star, Maybe 2 1/2 or 3-stars
We stay at a lot of 4-star hotels. This was around a 2.5-3-star hotel. Very average. It was definitely cheap and we could park for free [***NOTE--there are limited free parking places and you will likely have to pay to park]. Hardest bed Ive ever slept on. Shabby, old comforters with cig burns and stains and non-cool retro decor. A bit depressing. It was in a non-touristy neighborhood but convenient via metro. Restaurant was closed and no food nearby really.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
Magritte Museum is overpriced. Im really into Magritte and was disappointed and my boyfriend hated his life for the hour we were there. Otherwise, Brussels is much more beautiful and lovely than we expected and worth a stay (cheap hotels). Waterloo is a joke--sooooo overpriced and dilapidated with nothing really to see and very little in way of explaining its significance in history.

Good customer service
This hotel is old and needs upgraded to new rooms and room amenities. The hair dryers do not work well, nor do the showers. When problems occurred in the hotel related to my room, the customer service was swift to act and upgraded my room without being asked. The restaurant in the hotel is also quite good.
Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay
There are good restaurants within walking distance of the hotel as well as a large Metro stop. Being close to the EU parliment is also helpful, if you are doing business there.
