Great Budget Hotel

The hotel is great. It has a balcony and is within walking distance to many shops, bus terminal and train terminal. The only bad thing I can say about the hotel is that you don’t have free internet access inside your room, except in the lobby. But this is asking for too much, I guess, as I am accustomed to free internet service with most hotels and motels in the US. All shops around the hotel close at 8PM so you can’t do much at night, especially during weekdays. You can take bus #100 to go into Monaco for only 1 Euro/person. It’s a 20 minute ride with beautiful houses on mountains on one side and the ocean on the other. Unfortunately, the latest bus back is around 8:40PM. So you can’t stay out there too late. While in Monaco, you can buy a tourist day pass for 3 Euro which gives you unlimited rides on any buses in Monaco for a day. Monte Carlo is an absolutely beautiful city!!! The cheapest method to go back to Nice airport is to take bus #110 which cost 18 Euro/person or you can reserve at the front desk a minibus which will pick you up at the hotel. For 2 people, it’s only 50 Euro. The latter option is faster as the minibus does not make stops like the regular bus does.

good hotel for american traveling to France

Nice and clean. I have to switch room due to smoking smell even though they said it was a non smoking room. They was nice about it. The girl that worked at night speak some English and was pleasant to talk too. They do have free internet service at the lounge with made me happy. I would come back there again in the future.

Traveler's tip on dining

There was a Chinese restaurant there that is good. They also have vegetarian option. It is just under 5 minute walk to it.

Great roof top deck

The best things about this hotel are its proximity to the beach (an easy 5 minute walk) and the 7th floor rooftop deck and bar. Very nice! I would stay here again.
