Best of the worst?
I’ve stayed at several of the hotels in the Cedar Point area and I guess I would call this the best of the worst. There was a funky odor in the hallways, but the room seemed clean. The walls could use a paint job since they had a few stains on them, but the beds were clean and good enough for what we needed. We arrived late after a full day at Cedar Point and simply slept in the room. The continental breakfast was nice and the staff was friendly.

Will NEVER again!
Check in, I see housekeepers folding sheets as they drag on the floor. Get to room. Dried urine all over the toilet seat. Room had bad odor. Went back to front desk, she did give me another room (which wasn’t much better) but no apology or even concern. I brought my own blanket in from the car and put it across the bed to sleep on. NEVER AGAIN!! You couldn’t PAY me to stay there. I sent a complaint email to the hotel and got NO response. Imagine that.

Cedar Point Hotel
Hotel was re-done. Customer service was good. We checked in very late (after CP trip) and the lady at the front desk was very nice. We got a cot and it was dirty. She brought us brand new linens for it. Then it was broke. She got us a new one that morning before she left. The walls are pretty barren (not much decor) but if you’re not going to be in the place much, it’s a great deal. Nice pool and hot dog stand next to hotel.
