NIce and very convenient
It is the first stop on the bus route from Gothenburg airport to downtown. And you cant miss it when you get off, the hotel is the tallest pair of towers around, maybe in the whole city. Right outside the door is probably the busiest tram stop in the city. Go into the kiosk and buy a 100kr fare card. (Remember to put it into the machine on the tram and press at least a "2".) I liked the breakfast, one of the largest and best Ive seen in Europe. (Better: Hilton in Cologne, thats about it, in my experience.) I ate at Incontro downstairs. I highly recomment this restaurant, assuming one doesnt mind paying up to $100 for ones meal (with a couple drinks).

Very Nice Stay
4 star hotel, Great location, Liseberg is accross the street, as is the Universeum and Cultural Center. Within walking distance of the new football stadium and Scandinavium. Short walk to downtown and main street. Service is very good, their breakfast buffet is the best in town. 2 great restaurants in the building, one on the 23rd floor, offering spectacular views of the city day and night. Having stayed at the airport hotel and 2 of the Spar locations in town, this is the nicest hotel, and is priced accordingly. Its worth the price we paid, but not so much during the weekdays, when the price more than doubles. Its a good weekend hotel.
Go when Liseberg is open. We went in late october and the park was closed for changeover to the Christmas season. Everything else was open.

Could be better
The hotel wasnt bad but not completely up to a 4 star Swedish hotel standards. Its conveniently located accross the amusement park which is great if you travel with children but can be a bit hectic if you dont like children running around in the lobby and at the breakfast buffet. I was there in July and the wait time for the elevator was a little too long. The staff was helpful with tourism information but never fixed the problem I reported with the safe box. Overall not bad but a bit "family" hectic and not quite up to the quality and standards of a 4 star hotel in Sweden.
