Great place to stay at in Paris
This hotel was the best one out of all the hotels we’ve stayed at during our month long vacation in Europe. It is very contemporary and close to the Louvre and Notre Dame as well as a metro stop right in front of the hotel. The only complaint was that they do not let you check in until 3pm even when you are there a few hours early and probably have rooms available. Our room was very large compared to normal european hotel rooms. The bed was large and comfortable. Bathroom was clean, with the toilet in a separate room. Free wireless internet and Mac computers in the lobby for usage. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Not impressed
My husband and I take vacations every year. We always stay at 4 or 5 star hotels. This hotel was supposed to be a 4 star. We upgraded from a standard room to a suite because we were staying for 10 days. This hotel room was very, very small. There was no closet so our luggage was thrown on the floor. There was hardly any walking space. We literally lived out of our suitcases because there were only three small drawers. The television only had one station in English and that was BBC.

Large, clean rooms and thoughtful staff
We stayed at the Novotel Paris Les Halles for 2 nights. We chose the Novotel since we had stayed in many Novotel hotels and knew it to be of consistent service and cleanliness. This hotel is in a perfect location, with easy walking distance to the Louvre and great restaurants. We stayed with our 3 month old and the staff were very obliging to provide us with a cot upon arrival. We were impressed with the large rooms and modern bathrooms, which was such a pleasant change from our other experiences with European rooms. The staff were consistently friendly and willing to help. Definitely a great place for families, even those with young children, with a good price point for the area.
