Good Hotel Near ASU
This is a good solid hotel just across the river from ASU and Sun Devil Stadium. The location is also convenient to freeways and other areas. The hotel is very comfortable but the service is bare bones. They do have sandwiches and fruit, etc. for purchase in the lobby.
The close restaurants are mostly fast food (Starbucks, In-n-out Burger), so plan to drive for anything substantial.

A very nice change from standard corporate lodgings!
This was a very refreshing change of pace from the standard corporate deal (hard bed, hard pillows, hard time finding anything to make me want to go back). The bed and pillows were fluffy and very comfortable; first time I’ve slept well away from home in years. The hot, cooked to order breakfast sandwich was good enough to want seconds; my daughter agreed. The room and lobby have a very upscale, modern Euro feel to them. The big flat panel TV was enjoyable. The desk was very small, but serviceable and the WiFi access worked well. The bathroom and shower were really nice; big walk-in shower with natural light and built in soap and ’poo dispenser. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant as well. This will definitely be my hotel of choice in Tempe.
