Nice Hotel
This hotel was a nice place. We were very satisfied with it. The only issue that we had is that there is only one elevator and it was pretty slow. The hotel is technically in the historic district, but it’s a few blocks from anything worth going to. River Street is within walking distance, so it’s not a major inconvenience, but if you wanted to be in the heart of the Historic District, this is not the hotel for you. I think the difference in price makes the walking worth it. One hangup we did have is that one morning housekeeping knocked on the door at 8:30 AM looking to clean the room. They didn’t come back to clean the room that day. After that we just left the "Do Not Disturb" sign up and didn’t have the room cleaned the whole weekend. This wasn’t a big deal, but this is something to be wary of.
