Filthy Disaster
The carpet was filthy. You would stick to the carpet when you would walk on it. Water stains on the celing. Upon arrival, there were only tow towells available in the room and no wash cloths. This room was reserved for a family of 4. When checking with the front desk for additional towells and wash cloths, they did not have any clean ones. It took several hours to get some. I would have left if I had not had to pay for the room in advance.

Good reasonalbly priced hotel
The hotel seemed to be slipping a bit in maintenance and appearance since I was last there a couple of years before. The room was comfortable and cheapr than others in the area. The staff was helpful and there is a continental breakfast. Overall a better deal than other downtown hotels.
Traveler's tip on dining
J Gumbos was a restaurant nearby with Cajun style food that was good and reasonably priced. It had a good beer selection as well.

great location, scary sheets.
this hotel is very conveniently located to the downtown sights of indianapolis. it’s also next door to a police station, prison, and courthouse! there a are a million police around. i walked 2 blocks in and out of downtown from there. BUT. there were hairs on my sheets when i turned down the comforter. and loud mysterious noises in the middle of the night from the parking lot. the free brkfst included a do it yourself waffle iron, which was cool. i guess if you can ignore the thought of the sheets, which i did, the location and price make it worth it.
