Great place to stay!
Enjoyed our stay. Staff was extremely polite and helpful. Location was perfect for us. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the Time Square area.

in the heart of excitement
A very nice hotel close to Times square. The lobby bar is a great place to sit and have a drink and watch the craziness of times square below.

The room was very nice - 2 double beds that were comfortable - Bathroom was a very good size - View was fantastic - The staff was very friendly and helpful - we navigated NYC like pros because of their help - Need a taxi - just ask - pronto - its there! Need water after the rest./gift shop is closed - no problem - just ask - pronto - its there. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else!!! They treat you like royality - even if you have a working mans paycheck!

Enjoyed New York
As a whole, the trip went smoothly. Air and transfers to and from the airport were excellent! The hotel was very clean and the people very pleasant. Once we called about the phone, hair dryer, and room temperature, a maintenance person was sent immediately.

I loved this hotel..nice comfy and the best of all: GREAT LOCATION!!! really, this hotel is great..maybe a little pricey but whats cheap in the Big Apple?! i totally recommend it

Great hotel Great location
The location is unbeatable and it is very close to the subway station and every other place that is interesting. Be sure to visit the Intrepid Museum; it’s very out of the ordinary.

Christmas in NYC
Hotel was clean and tasteful. Staff were extremely helpful. The elevators were annoying as two of the four lifts for my section (upper floors) were inoperable for different periods of time. Restaurant served good food for a reasonable price. Concierge was helpful. Rooms were kept clean. Location is absolutely PERFECT for NYC.

get the room you booked
The hotel itself if nice. We did not receive the room that we booked. We received the standard one room. We booked for two rooms. A bedroom and a sitting room. Don’t expect to get in one minute before check in also.

My husband and I were first time visitors to NYC. Our experience could not have been more wonderful. The Crowne Plaza was absolutely the best -- rooms were spacious and modern, location could not have been better and staff extremely friendly and helpful. We will definately stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to others!!!

I’d go again in a heart beat!
This was my second stay at the Crowne Plaza Times Square. I love the location for theatre-going and easy walking distance to Rockefeller Plaza and 5th Avenue. I had a great room overlooking Broadway. The room was very nice and very clean. The service by all staff members was excellent. We ate several meals in the hotel restaurant and were very pleased with selection, price and quality of the meals.

Would do it again
The room was just like the picture showed. It was a very pleasant hotel. Large rooms especially for a New York hotel. Great service and very friendly. Convenient toTimes Square and theatres.

Not impressed
We went to New York on December 13th and stayed through the 16th. It was our 25th Wedding anniversary and we had the worst experience. The room was extremely hot and we were placed by an employee entrance only door that opened and closed 27 times one morning slamming each time. We were promised champagne due to our anniversary and it was never delivered so we ordered and paid for it ourselves from room service. I will not go back.

Very Impressed
The hotel was great. I would definitley stay there again. Hector, one of the employees was absolutely wonderful. He took us under his wing. The consciere service was not the best but other than that the hotel and it’s staff were awesome. The location was perfect.

Nice hotel in Times Square
We had a very pleasant experience in the newly remodeled Crowne Plaza. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the hotel was clean and beautiful, even though it was full and busy! Rooms were a pleasant surprise -- they were larger than expected for a downtown hotel. We had a corner room on the 40th floor and the views were fabulous!

Nice hotel
The hotel was very nice. Hotel staff was helpful and courteous. Our tv remote didn’t work the day we checked in. A serviceman came up and checked the batteries, then when that didn’t work, he found us a new one. Our only complaint was there was no air conditioning! We checked in, and went to our room. It was awfully stuffy, and really warm. We turned the thermostat to cool and left. When we got back several hours later, it was even hotter than when we arrived! We called the front desk. They explained to us that they stopped supplying air conditioning to the building once the temp reached 50 degrees outside. Which is probably fine, except it was 64 degrees that day! It may not be a big deal to some. I know that air conditioning isn’t standard in some homes up north. But we are from the Deep South! We are very accustomed to a cold room. Our home stays 72 degrees year round! So you can imagine our discomfort in a hotel room that was 79 degrees or more each day! But the hotel staff did what they could. They told us to turn off the air unit, and open a window. They even brought us an oscillating fan! It helped, but our children slept on blankets in the floor near the window. My husband and I slept on the bed closest to the window with NO cover! The location is fantastic! The 29th floor is also very quiet! Just go when it’s really cold out, or really warm, so you can have air conditioning and you’ll be fine!

Excellent staff
I would definately stay here again. The location was right in Times Square. All the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The concierge was knowlegeable about good restaurants in the area and activities. Our view was awesome from our room.

An excellent hotel in the center of all action: Will stay here again
Compared to other hotels in the same area this hotel was priced about 50% of their rates. The location of this hotel is its biggest selling point. It’s right in the middle of time square, so, if you are a tourist or a manhattan-visiting businessman it makes absolute sense to be in the middle of the action and waste little time getting here. The rooms are small, but, comfortable. The hotel lobby tends to get a bit crowded due to the overwhelming number of business meetings and meandering tourists. The hotel doesnt have much character. The food is excellent and the breakfast was decent enough. Whenever I get back to NYC I’m definitely staying here again.
