One of the best Days Inn I have stayed at!
The staff were very friendly and helpful. A smile every morning as I went to breakfast. Attentive to every need of their guests. Highly recommend it for any traveler!
Traveler's tip on dining
Area is rural. Fast food restaurants down the road about 2-5 minutes. Super Wal-Mart less than 5. Will need a car as the hotel does not have a shuttle.

Very clean and friendly
I think this hotel deserves 3 stars rating. Very clean, neat, extremely friendly staff. Manager personally was helping us with our breakfast which is complimentary and very decent.

An average place -- and bring your own coffee creamer!
We were in Grinnell to see family. The complementary breakfast was substandard. The first day we came down at 8:30, and there was no fresh fruit left. There was powdered creamer, which I expect in the hotel room, but not in the dining room. I expect real cream or creamer. We were glad for the refrigerator in our room so I could house the creamer I purchased in. I was actually pleasantly surprised to see the refrigerator. Great job with that.
