Great location, Very good breakfast!
I have been to Palm Springs many times and this was my 1st time staying in Downtown Palm Springs. Great Location, I love being able to get my 20 cups of coffee without leaving the property, also omeletts or waffles made for you,pastries,muffins, cereal, and of course COFFEE!Thier pool has the outdoor air conditioning(a "T" shaped pole with vents emits a foggy mist,just turn the pole, and look for the red handle near the bottom, use it for a few minutes and then turn it off,I love that! 1 block over is the best Mexican restaurant in Palm Springs,Las Casuelas Terraza,(on S.Palm Canyon Dr) definetly get their guacamole.Their menu brags about it, but it is even better than the menu description!On Thursdays, S.Palm Canyon Dr. is closed off and there is a street fair starting at 6pm. Stores are open and vendors and artists set up booths in the street. I see no reason to stay anywhere else when I return!

Las Casuelas Terraza, a must eat at restaurant also has the outdoor air conditioning!Too good and too close to ignore, and its across the street, thru their back parking lot, and an alley will bring you there!

Great Palm Springs Location
This hotel is the perfect location for a visit to Palm Springs since it is central to the downtown area. The rooms seem to have been recently renovated and are very nice. The grounds are very well-maintained and the free full breakfast is great. The air conditioning units need an update however - when it’s hot outside, you can either have it ice cold or stifling warm in your room. It would also be nice if they had some items available that travelers might have forgotten in their vending machine, like Tylenol or Motrin.

This hotel is a great value for the area as long as you are not traveling with your pet.
