Great little hotel. Recommended.
The Piemontese in Torino was a great little hotel in a reasonable location at a great price. Rooms were on the small side, but very comfortable and extremely clean and warm. Internet was nice and fast. TV had no English channels, but no big deal. Breakfast was outstanding - typical Italian breads, ham, salami, cereals, yogurts, fruit and coffee or tea. Service staff were excellent and spoke good English. I will be staying there again. Recommended.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
The train station is about 5 minutes easy walking to the hotel, so coming from Milan or elsewhere wont require a taxi once you get to Torino....unless you have a lot of baggage - then just grab a 3 minute taxi ride.

Warm and friendly place for business trips
I had a room at the top floor, which had no elevator access, so I had to climb stair for one floor. But on the other hand, my room and the bath tub were very clean and I could sleep well. There were a few good Italian restaurants nearby, all open at 23:00 Sunday night when I arrived, and I could also reach the university very easily the next morning. The central touristic attractions were also within walking distance. The people in the front desk spoke English well, which is not always the case in Italy, and were very helpful. They even copied out maps and colored the paths to my locations for me.

Nice small and friendly hotel.
Hotel was clean and staff we very nice. Parking is a bit tricky until you check in and get access to their parking lot. Lots of nice little places nearby for a beer or bite to eat.
