Great Location

Great place to stay to visit the main tourist attractions in Istanbul. It is fairly quiet yet it is one block away from a street where there are many outdoor restaurants. It has a nice rooftop breakfast area with great views of the Bosporus, Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia. However, the food was uninspired, as it was in the most of the nearby restaurants that cater to tourists. I had an Ocean View room that overlooks the entrance to the Bosporus. The room was well appointed and much less drab that other hotels that I checked out online. Note that commuter trains travel fairly close to this side of the building, but they are infrequent and it is fairly quiet when they pass with the windows closed.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Visit during Ramadan when there is a festive atmosphere in the area around the Blue Mosque every evening after sundown.

Delightful Boutique Hotel

Nice small hotel in the old town Sultanmet District near the Blue Mosque, etc. Very comfortable rooms with king beds. Roof bar and breakfast areas have day and night views of everything important in the area, including the Bospherus Sea, all of which you can also walk to from this hotel. We came back for a second stay.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Walk from this hotel down to the famous Grand Market (almost 4,000 vendors), Spice Market, and take a short cruise on the Bospherus Sea. Black and apple teas are very good especially when enjoyed in one of the many open air cafes. Food in Turkey is mostly vegetables, fruit, lamb, and yogurt, plus awful coffee.

Lovely Hotel !!!

Lively hotel--fabulous service. Great location. Small issue--back rooms are near a railway and you do hear the trains. Loved the hotel--very nice rooms, clean, new, well-kept. Would definitely stay again !!!!
