**The Dew Drop in kiddie pool area is currently not functioning until 10/28/09. The swimming pool, waterslide & whirlpool may be used, however guests will notice a few construction barricades on the pool deck while repairs are completed. Holland Best Western
My niece and I stayed in a BW because we own one here in New Braunfels Texas. Detroit Lakes is my home town, so came to visit. The desk clerk was awesome and made me feel like I never left home in 1960

pet-friendly hotel/great for kids
This is a very nice pet-friendly hotel with a great swimming area for kids. There was a lovely area for walking dogs and the breakfast was good. We stayed three nights and would return.
The enclosed pool has a great tube slide and kiddie area. The kids will love it!
