Past its prime
We stayed overnight, although we live 40 minutes away, because of heavy business obligations. The TV popped on and off, evidently a short in the wiring that was difficult to re-set. At least two lamps didn’t work. The toilet ran all night. And to top it off, while reaching for a towel the next morning, the towel rack came flying out of the wall. The rooms are clean, and the service was friendly enough. But this motel needs a real facelift.

olde & tired but ok for $
older, tired they have tryed....lots of paint,but.... odd arrangement,mismatched components ie ac unit(which worked fine)hot water heater in closet,old hard ass chairs,odd out of place wall pictures of northern lakes ducks etc.... hey, linen was clean, plenty of towels, hskpg staff very friendly,plenty hot water, free HBO, they put us in suite(start of slow season) oh, lock on door was not working well, kindof falling off (had to hold it certain way to get it right....like I said olde & tired

Days Inn Venice
Don’t go by the picture you see when you check out this hotel on Expedia. Nothing like it. Beds are so old you fall to the middle of it. Floors were filthy. Had to have keys changed twice before they opened door and then had to jiggle card to get it to work. Other guests stated they had to do the same. Elevator didn’t work. Front desk operators were very nice.Hotel is way overpriced. Never ever again. Tear it down or fix it up.
