I felt like I had stepped back in time to the 1970s. That’s probably the last time this hotel was renovated. The location is right next to an adult toy store, strip club and I believe some massage parlors. Definitely NOT a good area to stay in. But in fairness the room was cleaner than I would have expected. And the one gentleman working there was very courteous and helpful showing me to my room. It’s just a VERY old hotel who’s time has come and gone.

hotel great for online price i got
Hotel is older but well kept. Room was aged but very clean. Everyone there was very nice and helpful. Got fridge/microwave as soon as I requested it. Felt very safe even tho there is a stripper club across the parking lot. They had security at night (I believe armed) and a sub police station in hotel. I am a female and was traveling alone. I felt that I and my car were safe the whole time. Negatives: internet connection was not strong and had to set my laptop up on ironing board near door, but it worked and was free. Charge for breakfast was steep and I personally didnt see anything to eat. IHOP w/in walking distance tho :0). Because of age hotel room not as nice as others but was clean and the price thru exp. was priced right!! I didnt like the stripper club but it honestly didn’t effect the stay. Hotel is very convenient to I-77. A note about type of cars in parking lot because I always look at this: there were a range of types of cars in the lot, mostly mid-priced and nice to expensive (mercedes), also had constructin trucks. I have driven off from hotels just from the type of cars parked there and this one didnt scare me off. I saved $20 a night off of hotel I normally use in S. Char area.

when excerising(treadmill) it would have been nice to have the tv on. could not find a remote. other that that it was a nice stay
