If youre going to a Red Sox game
The Howard Johnson Inn, Fenway Park is just the thing if youre going to a Red Sox game (as I was), as its walking distance from the ballpark (although its not "across the street" as a practical matter, since the side of the motel which backs up to the Park has a locked gate and fence). Its a decent, adequate motel. Apart from location, its overpriced for what you get.

Outdated With Hidden Prices
Beware of the $20 per night per vehicle surcharge when staying at this hotel. It may be close to Fenway, but when you average in the outdated decore with the pricey parking, I would have opted to pay just a little more for a nicer, newer hotel.
