Driving up the road towards the Residence Castello Belvedere, you may catch your first glimpse of this majestic villa, partially hidden by the trees. It is only 7 km (4.3 miles) from the center of Desenzano del Garda, a thriving lake-side town with a rich and complex history, dating back to the bronze age, which has left its mark in the form of the town's church, castle, and archaeological museum. There are also many sporting activities on offer in the local area. The Residence Castello Belvedere is set in acres of olive groves, ancient trees which surround this renaissance villa , dating back to 1565, and its well-kept gardens. The 18th Century church of St Anne also stands in these delightful grounds, giving the villa an added charm. First thing in the morning, or after a hot day touring around the area, you will be able to dive into the cool waters of the outdoor swimming pool and enjoy a panoramic view across the valley. There is also a solarium and a children's swimming pool so that the younger members of your family are not left out. For your convenience, the residence night porter is available until 1 a.m. during the low season and until 6 a.m. during the high season.
