Riad dar Maia
An amazing little Riad located in the heart of Marrakechs medina. Cozy, quaint and tucked away from the bustling sounds the neighborhood. Great staff !!! Very Helpful in finding your way around to the good restaurants and (if you are a first time visitor) negotiating the twists and turns of the medina and the souks. to the left: djaama el-fna and the souks are only minutes away and a very easy walk. to the right: the city proper and a very nice hammam. We (husband and wife) were made to feel welcome from the very first second we walked through the door. Rooms are great. Clean and comfortable. Roof top terrace where you are served a great little breakfast among the rooftops, sites, sounds and smells of Marrakech. Others are bigger and more elaborate, but you get a true feeling for the city and the country by staying here. Ask for a pickup from the airport if this is your first visit to Marrakech.
Ask for tips from the Riad staff on where to eat in the Medina.
