Duomo

IMPORTANT NOTE - Hotel's Hall, Reception and Restaurant have been recently restored, as well as may of its rooms. Procedures have been started to upgrade Hotel's category. Albergo Duomo is an ancient palace dating back to the 18th century, located in the beautiful village of San Gemini, well known for its springs of mineral water. The Mansion has been built by the noble family of the Santacroce (“Holy Cross”) who chose in the 18th century San Gemini as their Summer Residence for its short distance from Rome, the beauty of the landscapes and for the authentic environment and people. The Santacroce bought the entire village and tore down part of the city walls to built their Palace (the actual name of the hotel refers to the adjacent Cathedral of San Gemini).
