Peter Island Extremely Relaxing
My wife and I had an incredible time there. The beaches were beautiful and well kept. The staff was very friendly and made it a point to know you by name. Outstanding food at every meal. The only down side was that the entire island shut down at 11 PM so the evenings ended early. Would definitely go back again.
Traveler's tip on recreational activities
For scuba divers, the onsite diveshop (Paradise Watersports) was terrific. The dive masters were extremely knowledgeable of the local area and very friendly. We went on three dives and thoroughly enjoyed them all. Only 6 people per boat. Dont miss the chance to dive on the RMS Rhone.

Peaceful & Relaxing
My husband & I went as per a high recommendation from our neice & her husband. The island is lovely, as is the hotel, the beach is wonderful. The food is outstanding, and "most" of the help/staff cant do enough for you...but a few others have a knack of looking right thru you, as if you werent there. But if youre from a busy city accustomed to a hectic pace, realize these folks are on "island time". It takes a few days to learn how to chill out & relax, and thats what one needs to do. Weve been to other "all inclusives" that have a lot more going on: activities/games/group participation/evening entertainment/movies/disco, etc, similar to a cruise ship, and that tends to overwhelm. This retreat has none of that, yet there is always something to do should you choose to. There is an island tour, a sunset viewing on the top of the island, a trip to White Bay Beach w/ a boxed lunch, a Managers Party w/ complimentary cocktails (all recommended & hosted by the hotel). Musical entertainment is "lite" steel drum and raggae, stilt walkers; all ends early. This place is total relaxation and we enjoyed that. Didnt do any excursions, even cancelled a day trip to St Thomas (no shopping & I survived), stayed on Peter Is and enjoyed the beach, peace & tranquility. Island hoppers/boat people drop anchor in the harbor and visit the island; they can be an interesting lot to chat with.

Lovely place...
Peter Island Resort was first class all the way. The all-inclusive price was great, and they provided services to and from Tortola in that price. The food is better than some of the other resorts, like Little Dix where we spent more time. The chef even gave me one of his recipes. Highly recommend!
