Il Parco e gli Affreschi

The villa is located in Sacromonte of Varese, a medieval village of such artistic interest and beautiful landscape that Unesco proclaimed it "world Heritage". It dominates the Pre Alps lakes district. Milano-Malpensa intercontinental airport is about 25 kilometers far. A suitable network of motorways links up Varese to the most important tourist destinations in northern Italy and Switzerland. Of the four golf courses in the radius of 20 kilometers one was disigned by Jack Nicklaus. The Park on terraces gently sloping offers splendid wiews on the hills below. The Frescoes adorn every room of the villa: painted floral bands under the lacunar ceilings and aroud the woodwork in walnut. The room "Trecento", in neo-gothic style, has a large stained bowindow that sees the sunset on the Campo dei fiori, and a private terrace overlooking the lake of Varese as fas as "Colli Piacentini". The room "Cinquecento" is embellished by authentic pieces of the 16th century and has a wide private terrace facing south. The room "Ottocento" opens its large windows directly on the park; the ceiling is painted with hunting scenes. The bathroom is in a small cave carved in the rock. In winter you'll have breakfast in a bowindow almost suspended on the lake and the "Pianura Padana". In summertime we will wellcome you in the "veranda". Coloured glasses separate it from the quiet and the sweet coolness of the park, where you'll easiliy forget the noise of the city
