Great for a few days
This hotel is not on the main strip in Virginia Beach but you can walk to the beach in 3 minutes. Staff was friendly enough and continental breakfast was simple.

Stay away.
Poor area. Car was broken into right in front my room. They said it not their problem and walked away. Pool was lousy. Rooms mediocre. Waffles were excellent.

Hotel smells. After we bought lysol,fabreeze and air fresheners the room was barable. For first timers to DC, this is quite far from everything in dc. Hotel says1 minute from trains.Never tried it. Drived daily. Drive takes some time. Breakfast is awesome. Pool is decent. Room cleaned daily. Service is great. Overall I’d give it 2.5 stars. You get what you pay for. Oh, wall paper pealing, carpet coming apart. Did not feel unsafe. Not like Manzanilla Days Inn.

Do not eat at restaurant at hotel. Keyword, yuck.
