Loved "Hotel De La Couronne"
The hotel is in the town of Riquewihr, Alsace, France which is beautiful and on the famous wine route. The hotel is old and has a spiral stone staircase that dates back to the time of Columbus. The heating system worked well as it was starting to get chilly at night. The bathroom was fairly modern. The desk staff were very kind and helpful. They have a lovely breakfast buffet which I would definitely recommend. A nice way to start the day, very reasonably priced. If I were in the area again, I would definitely stay at the "Hotel De La Couronne".
We were there in late October and while it was a little chilly, the trees and grapevine leaves were changing color. In the early morning and evening the vineyards kind of glowed with a beautiful golden glow. We rented a car and were able to park in a courtyard at the "Hotel De La Couronne", but driving on the cobblestone streets is highly discouraged, but you could still get into and out of the parking courtyard with little trouble.
