Cheap, but still not worth it
I got a good deal on Expedia for this place, but there were others around the same price I should have checked. The workers were by far the rudest people I met on my entire trip. The lady at the desk was talking on her cell for probably three minutes before she acknowledged me. The room smelled terrible. And the walls were a little too thin to ignore the amorous couple next door. Im young and love bargains. I have relatively low standards for traveling and usually stick to hostels. This was cheaper than a hostel for that night, so I went there. Big mistake. Id say either go to a hostel or find another room for the same price. Birmingham isnt really a great place anyhow, so nowhere will charge tourist prices.
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
Hostels in the area are usually much cheaper and offer better service, friendlier staff, and (seriously) less noise.
