Hotel is in a great location for Normandy beach tours and tapestry viewings. Staff was very helpful and breakfast was well done. Enjoyed it immensely!
No elevator, so only bring what you want to haul up the stairs.

Wonderful experence in Bayeux
My husband and I just spent 3 nights at Le Lion d’Or. The location is fantastic and the hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and the hotel had a very appealing design and atmosphere. My only complaint is that the mattress was not supportive enough for my back. Even so,I would stay there again if we return to the Bayeux area.
Traveler's tip on dining
I highly recommend dining at La Pomme D Aure on Rue De Nesmond. The food and service were both outstanding. It is near the Bayeux Cathedral and was by far the best meal we had while in Bayeux.

Beautiful historic hotel
The rooms are very comfortable, and the staff are all helpful and professional. We would love to spend more time here.
