Clemson weekend
The hotel was run down and the room smelled like cigarette smoke. We were afraid to walk on the carpet or bathroom floor in our bare feet, so we wore socks.

Clean and Convenient
We stayed at the La Quinta Inn Anderson on a trip to a Clemson football game. It was about 10-15 minutes from campus, but had plenty of food options nearby. Also, pharmacies and Wal-Mart were nearby in case we forgot anything/needed a poncho/etc.

A real deal for the price
Based on the price, I was concerned. Being on a budget, I booked on the known hotel brand and while this is an older motel, it was very clean. Located about 3 miles off of I-85, it is in the middle of the retail area for Anderson so lots of dining choices.
