Third room finally works
The Hilton Oakland Airport is a convenient place to stay if you are flying out of Oakland. I chose it because of location and a desire to stay in a nicer hotel with my wife and kids. Pros: (1) Good location to Oakland Airport (2) Large rooms (3) Good breakfast buffet in the adjoining restaurant. Cons: (1) Annoying fees for parking and internet access (2) Notable absence of queen beds, double or klng only (3) Somewhat clueless staff to guest needs I had to request a room change twice; the first due to a very noisy couple next to our room (we had small children with us, you can imagine what my daughter asked was going on next door). The second room was clearly a smoking room, and to place a young family in that room was pretty clueless. The final room was acceptable, but moving to three different rooms somewhat soured our overall experience. The front desk did comp our breakfast buffet without any prompting from us.

AVOID THIS PLACE--RUDE STAFF, FEES FOR EVERYTHING
Many of the rooms wwere in separate buildings a long walk from the desk. Bottled water is in the room--for five dollars extra!! $13 a day for wireless internet. Rude desk staff who did not provide information on airport shuttle. Nearly ten dollars to park !! The room was okay
