Over Rated
The hotel aloft was very over rated for the price the building was actually converted into a hotel there was not enough lighting in the rooms the view i had in my room was the back of a condemed building, you were charged 25.00 a day for incidentals which will take up to ten days to get your money back and they had no incidentals also for the price contenintal breakfast should have been offered at least hot coffee they wanted you to pay 3.00 for a cup of coffee the only eatery in the area was a jacks would not recomend at this time you may want to do a comfort inn for less in price and more in ammenities.

to get most out of your stay you will definitley need to do a background check of the area so that you want be like me going 20 miles for dinner and entertainment.

ALOFT Birmingham
The hotel was super trendy, the people who worked there were very friendly and helpful but if you plan to sleep don’t stay here! We were on the second floor and the noise from the bar downstairs was ridiculous. No insulation apparently. Otherwise, good stuff. The room was clean (but we had a lamp with no lightbulb) and very upscale.
