If you just need a place to sleep.
Comparing this to a US hotel, the beds are not as comfortable and the rooms are very compact. The staff was very friendly, but they kept charging us different prices for a bottle of soda we got on several occasions. The rooms were very clean, though.

Good value, but...
Nice room, almost just right temp (Dec stay). If your rate doesn’t include breakfast (petite dejuner), it’s a little price vs going to a cafe. We bought it once and it was tasty (but 12 euro a piece - ouch). Lot’s of tasty thai/vietnamese/chinese places in the neighborhood. We’ll probably stay closer to the city center next time, but this was a nice-non touristy way to experience a bit of Paris. Definitely get a 3 or 5 day metro pass (depending on your stay)
