great staff and breakfast
very helpful staff that understood English. Great breakfast to start the day and an extremely efficient breakfast crew. Rooms were clean but not up to US modern facilitties. Trolleys begin runnning outside your window at 5:30 so don’t stay up late at night.Within walking distance to the main shopping district.The hotel dinning restaurant was outstanding.Is around the block from the hotel. Don’t miss it.

don’t go all over looking for restaurant. The Comfort Inn restaurant on the next street below was outstanding .

Recommend/ good deal
Room/bed was simple but that was totally okay for us since the price was in our reach. The best part was the breakfast. It was better than we expected & frankly the best out of the 7 hotels we stayed in. The bathrooms were also simple but very clean. The train station was an easy 5 minute walk down the hill from the hotel via 3 sets of stair cases (cross street between each stair case). Also easy walk to center of town which is why this hotel was an even better value. Staff friendly/spoke english.

Great value for money
In a city where hotels routinely cost $450 to $850 a night, this hotel is moderately priced, clean and convenient to the tram. One stop to the hautbahnhof and 4 to city centre. Several good restaurants around the corner.

Great location -- no frills, but great location!
Nothing too extraordinary with the ammenities. However, what you’ll get is a great location with extremely friendly service, a great daily breakfast and a reasonable rate.

Close to the main train station -- ability to hop on train right outside of hotel and get going on your trip!

small room very hot in there even thou it was cold and the bed is not for 2 people to sleep in look before booking staff not very helpfull
