Good clean hotel but elevator situation is a headache
The hotel has a good location, nice-sized and clean rooms and quality breakfast. The price was reasonable when booked on expedia, and a substantial discount from the price listed at the front desk. A serious negative is that an elevator is and will be out of service for some time. That means only one working elevator which results in significant delays. The stairs are not well integrated into the building, as they lead to the parking lot and not the lobby.

Pleasant stay
Very pleasant hotel. Good location. Short walk to tube and Buckingham Palace. One of the two elevators is still does not work.

Not 4 star hotel
The hotel was very cental located. Very close to the tube, But there were problems. At one point the only elevator working was the service elevator.. other wise only one worked. Sheets were never changed. The bathroom was clean. The breakfast was very good. A buffet style English breakfast. The rooms were larger than the usaul English hotels.The air conditioning was not so good. Had to open the window.
Traveler's tip on dining
The pubs are good places to eat. They have good food food for fair prices. They have alot of deli type places in the city that have quick good sandwiches ,even for breakfast.
