Not the Hilton I’m used to seeing
The location was great - just a few blocks away from the person we came to visit; however, the hotel was some what run-down. The first thing I noticed was that our room was constantly in the shade - made the room look like a cave. Along with that, the odor of the room (something strong, not sure what it was) would not go away - even with the sliding glass door open all day. I wouldn’t go back again because I now know the layout of San Diego a bit better. However, if you need a hotel very close to the airport without airport noise, this would be an option. Be careful, as the price for overnight parking is steep... The staff was friendly and the housekeeping was very efficient though.

Would stay again
We were in town for a wedding at the resort. On the whole, I was impressed with all of the services as well as their staff. However, connecting to their wireless internet was a big hassle. And the prices at the restaurant at the resort were a little on the expensive side.
