Nice little hotel for couples
My wife and I booked our stay at the Franklin Hotel initially because it was the best rated hotel within a short walking distance of our daughters apartment. We were very pleased with the service provided by this hotel. Be advised, this hotel appears to cater to couples. The rooms are not large, but generally comfortable. It is designed for the traveler that basically uses the hotel as a place to sleep and wash up. You are in New York City after all, and the last thing you want to do is loiter at your hotel. It is conveniently located near a subway stop as well as various shops and stores. The continental breakfast was quite good, and the staff kept the small eating area clean and attended. Finally, the hotel was nice enough to hold luggage after checkout so that we did not have to drag suitcases our last day in NYC.
