Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lakeside Inn
We found the Lakeside Inn to be a surprisingly good value. The hotel is older, but the rooms and beds are very comfortable. We were in the Glenbrook Lodge, which we understood to be recently remodeled. You have to request the Glenbrook to be placed there. The restaurant far exceeded our expectations-the prime rib dinner special included bread, salad, potato and vegetable. Not skimpy portions-a lot of food, very well prepared and the service was impeccable. Breakfast was also very good, and economical if you order the special. Highly recommend this gem and hope to go back ASAP!!
Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks
At the restaurant, be sure to check for the specials. In addition to Breakfast & Dinner, they also offer an "Early Bird" special, which ends at 4:00 pm. Get there on time-they won’t let you be even 3 minutes late (we were).

March Madness
For the past 4 years we have stayed at the Lakeside Inn and Casino for March Madness ski trip! As always the service and staff were great and most of them we have seen for the past 4 years! Rooms are clean, rustic, and the price is right. The restaurants have remodeled and the menu’s have changed for the better! It could use some upgrades but for the price and convenience cannot be beat! It is also close enough to easily get to Heavenly for some great skiing and the main strip for shopping and nightlife. We will see you again next year!!!
