My second night Imy card(key) would not open my door. Had to go to the extra trouble very lat at night to have them fix the problem. Also, More attention NEEDS to be payed to detailed cleaning. There was some kind of bodily fluid on the carpet neer the bed and the bath tub needed some desparate scrubbing. The out side of the hotel made me feel like I was in the ghetto. The only good thing was the staff. The were very pleasant to deal with.

Good hotel for an early flight

Room comfortable, but nothing special. Friendly service and ride to the airport in the morning worked well.

Very run down

This hotel has become very shabby and run down. They are very close to the airport, and have a continental breakfast, but they need to take control of a very run down hotel. There are other hotels on the same street for the same price. I won’t be staying there again until they renovate.

Nice Place to Stay

The hotel room was clean, the employees kind and considerate and actually very helpful with instructions on what to see in the area. There was a computer in the lobby that was easily accessible at no extra charge. I did have one friend state it was difficult to call me on the hotel phone. However, I did get one expected phone message once I was at the hotel.

Comfort Inn ABQ

Decent place to stay near airport with a couple of good places to eat with easy walk from hotel. Close to car rental place as well for all airport rental P?U & returns. I got a awesomw deal with expedia for my trip so it was all good.

As far as the convenience and comfort of the hotel, I would recommend it to anyone who visits the city of Albuquerque in NM. I was very pleased also with the employees of the hotel, they were very accomendating.

Was an enjoyable stay and would stay there again for my next trip out of town. The bed was very comfortable and relaxing, the room was quiet and very satisfying.

Good for a night close to airport

The hotel is a little worn looking and carpets are old. But the employees are very friendly/helpful and it felt comfortable, safe and clean. Nice but not huge selection of breakfast foods inclucing waffles. There is a free shuttle to and from the airport and the public bus stops right next door. I wouldn’t make this hotel a destination, but it was fine for a place near the airport when I arrived in town and the night before I left. A couple concerns: our alarm clock was broken in the room and the front desk couln’t provide another. But their wake-up call was on time. They do not have a separate locked space to leave luggage if you want it stored a few hours before you leave. They were happy to keep it in the lobby next to the front desk and manager’s office and said there had never been a problem. We left ours there and it was fine but it didn’t seem ideal. We kept all valuables with us.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

The public bus stops right next door and you can take it downtown or the university, or transfer to a bus to Old Town. Buses cost $1/ride or buy an all day pass for $2. Bus drivers are helpful and buses on time. We spent 3 days going all over using buses, and a new high speed train to Santa Fe ($8 round trip.)

Convenient location

Hotel was conveniently located as soon as you get into to town. Perfect for the 4 year old that has been asking "Are we there yet?". Great places to eat so close by.

You can definitely do better.

It’s pretty run-down and noisy. I could hear people walking around outside and talking until after midnight on a Thursday night. I wanted a non-smoking room - they were overbooked and all they had for me was a smoking room. While the staff was nice, it didn’t make up for dreary run down ambiance, a smoking room and lots of noise.

Very ordinary

We stayed one night at this hotel during a trip to New Mexico. The room condition was bad - the bathroom was not very clean, the towels didn’t look like they had been washed thoroughly. The hotel did have breakfast in the morning, which was good, as was the service at the front desk. Other than that, it’s certainly nothing to write home about.

So Disappointed

Please do not stay here if you want a restful nights sleep. The facility is older so upkeep of the rooms is questionable. You can hear everything through the walls, doors and older windows.

Good deal near the airport!

This place is clean and convenient to the airport. They also offer an aiport shuttle service and free breakfast. The rooms are recently renovated and are spacious and comfortable. I’ve stayed here several times and will continue to make it my hotel of choice.

Traveler's tip for business travelers

Hotel is very near several long term park and ride lots for travelers driving to Albuquerque to fly elsewhere.

This hotel is old and in need of remodelling. The front desk people were friendly but not exceptionally helpful. It’s just a place to stay if that’s all you want. Nothing special.

You get what you pay for..in this case..very little

All rooms open to the outside. If your room is on the second floor, there is an elevator but, you may still have to drag luggage up outdoor steps on the way to your room. No help is offered with luggage. We were given the wrong room key when we checked in. There is a charge to use the computer at the hotel. Room was drab and beds uncomfotable. No food at the hotel - other than vending machines. Next time, I will send a little more for a nicer hotel.

A little shabby compared to other Comfort Inns

The room was not entirely clean. The bedside stand hadn’t been wiped clean of beverage and food stains. It smelled a little foul. The TV was 15" and circa 1988. But, the beds were comfy and had down pillows. It was close to the airport, the staff were friendly, and plenty of free food in the AM.

The room was great and the staff was very helpful. I did this on a package deal was very satisfied. The breakfast was great.
