This hotel is worn out, growns not kept up, clean rooms, but old and used up. Wouldn’t go back

this hotel is in great location, has a feel of an upscale old-style hotel in lobby, and very clean, classy rooms. we would go again.

Everything else is OK but.....the pillows on the beds Suck! HArd as a rock. If you can bring your own pillow its not a bad place to stay.

Would definitely stay again!

This was the best stay we have had at a hotel in Fresno. The rooms were quiet, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was more than expected!

Pleasantly suprised

I grew up in Fresno and you always have to be careful of the area around the hotels. This one was in one of the better areas of Fresno. Family friendly. Nice big pool. Nice spacious rooms. Restaurant close and good breakfast. The hotel was quiet with plenty of parking. We will definately stay there next time.

Not Satisfied.

Room was dirty and smelled like an old room. Water was leaking from ceiling. Front office people not very helpful. Crib for a baby was arranged prior to arrival but was not available; only one crib was supposed to be available for the hotel but they were not able to tell where it was; our baby was crying all night; we were not able to sleep well.

Tahoe Joe’s one half mile to the west on WEst Shwa was a welcome treat.

Very good value

After we finally got in our room...(trouble with the key card), we found it to be spacious and very well kept. We had only booked the room for two nights, but stayed another night. Location is close to many restaurants and easy to find. I would stay there again.

Everything we needed

Our stay was very pleasant. The large room was nicely decorated, clean and well maintained. Great AC, comfy bed. Pool area was clean. Complimentary breakfast nothing to rave about, but adequate. We’ll be back.

Piccadilly Stay

This was a good, basic, clean place to stay. I was not overly impressed, but would suggest it as a decent place to stay!

Di Coccos is just across the street. It is YUMMY and the service is exceptional. I highly recommend it!

Close to shopping, very nice place, and centrally located.

Clean comfortable hotel

Clean and well maintained hotel with convenient location on Shaw. Complimentary breakfast is also above average.

What a nightmare

I started to write a long drawn out story of our stay but I think I only need to say that on day one of our visit we realized the water pressure was low and asked for another room but was told there were none. On day two of our stay we woke up to no water at all. And did I mention the temperature in Fresno both days was over 100 degrees! The managment promised us a one night complimentary stay and we haven’t recieved the coupon yet and no one seemed very concerned.

Extremely Comfortable

The only complaint that I have is that the front desk girl that checked me in was VERY SLOW! And she wasn’t very friendly. However the hotel and grounds were beautiful. The room was comfortable and the rest of the staff was very wonderful. I will stay there everytime I go to Fresno.

old hotel

This is an old hotel spread out on large grounds, much of it 1 story buildings; security could be a concern, but all was fine during my stay. There was no hot water in the morning and the front desk immediately sent a key to a room in another building for my morning shower.

Bedbugs

I was going to write a larger review, about noise level, no elevator, and other minor inconveniences. Instead, I’ll just write a one word review: "Bedbugs"

Piccadilly Shaw - Excellent Choice

Prompt, friendly and professional service given by Front Desk, Maintenance, Housekeeping and Restaurant personnal. Room was located in one of many separate out-buildings (6 rooms) and was well appointed and clean. This was the widest hotel room I have ever seen, making it especially confortable. Upon checking in we found the bathroom ceiling vent was not working - the maintenance staff was prompt and courteous and fixed it immediately - bravo! Room service was used for a dinner - food/beverage were exactly as ordered, and delivered within 25 min as promised!

The shuttle service was nice, though it ends at 10pm without exception, and my plane was late. I almost didn’t make it. My room was clean though the air hadn’t been turned on yet so it was humid and stagnant. The decor was average at best. The shower surround didn’t match the wallpaper at all. The towels were rough and well used and should have been thrown out. There are no cable movie channels and the satellite channel selection was pitiful. The television was very small, 19" is unacceptable. There was no minibar. The free wireless internet was intermittent and had limited signal. Overall, I was very disappointed and felt like I paid way too much. The room service was the only redeeming quality.

Great place to stay in Fresno!

I just stayed one night, but was very impressed. The room was quiet and very clean. The restaurant/bar near the lobby (Oliver’s maybe?) had excellent food and had great prices. The location of the hotel is great also. I would definitely stay here again!

Great value for price

I always stay at the Piccadilly Inn, when I visit my folks in Fresno. They are consistently well-organized, pleasant, and host a pleasant continental breakfast on weekdays. The rooms are comfortable, and the parking is convenient. I have stayed at other hotels for the same price, and concluded that Piccadilly is the nicest place for the price.

It’s a short drive to the foothills, and easy to access Yosemite and Sequoia within 2 hours drive. Local places to see; Clovis Big Hat days, Forestiere Underground Gardens, a tidy small zoo for the kids, and many churches to choose from.
