Could be a great place for Haloween night stay
Staffs are kind and very professional. But, the hotel is very old and really needs a renovation. I would recommend it only if you want a gloomy Haloween night experience. We had to sleep with the room lights on.

Not a Holiday Inn
Three generations of my family stayed at the Historic Lincoln Hotel when in Illinois for a family wedding. We enjoyed it so very much - even the grandchildren. My 10-year-old grandson remarked that "its not a Holiday Inn," which was his way of complimenting the hotel. When we were leaving, my five-year-old granddaughter said, "I wish we could stay here four more nights." We all loved the beautiful wall coverings, the lovely furniture, and the general ambiance of the lovely old hotel. If were ever in the area again, we will definitely stay there.
