will go back when in that area

I was extremely satisfied with everything (price, breakfast, cleanliness, staff help,) I will definitly use this Hotel again when in the area. Because of this hotel and it’s staff, I will try a Country Suite and Inn in another area ( I never used one before)

This was a business trip, so I would recommend the non tourist season if it can be arranged. The traffic is minimal, and most tourist prices are down

Close to Busch Gardens

I was happy with the hotel overall, the continental breakfast was good and they even had krispy kreme donuts! It was literally right down the street from Busch Gardens (our destination) so that was the best part. I would stay there again, but I was not overly enthused by the price, I think we couldve found a better deal. I really prefer newer bed linens, the ones that dont have those creepy older comforters, but everything was clean and functional. Good for a few nights stay.

Great Location

This Hotel was right on the main road so it was easily accesible from both Busch Gardens and the Historic Downtown area. easy to get into and out of with a pancake house right next door. The free continental breakfast offered in the hotel was probably one of the best i’ve ever seen and they even had waffles and sausage. The hotel was very clean and decorated for the halloween season (which is the reason we were down there). We had accidentaly left something in our room and the hotel mailed it back to us very promptly and at no cost to us, they were very helpful.

Easy access, comfortable, will return

Room was quite, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, ran out of bacon and donuts so get there early. Easy access from Bush Gardens. Arrived late evening and there was a sign on check in counter be back shortly. Clerk did return a few minutes later but made us feel that we were an inconvenience. Morning check out clerk was very pleasant.

Average

"One man’s trash is another man’s treasure." There’s nothing WRONG with this hotel, other than that there was no refrigerator in the room (rather surprising nowadays). But not my style: the lobby was completely decked out in gawdy Halloween decorations, apparently for the Busch Gardens crowd, and there was LOUD pop music playing from speakers outside the front entrance 24/7. It turned out this was a franchisee, not a corporate-owned hotel. From now on I will be sure I am booking only corporate-owned hotels, because of the consistency in standards and decor.

Nice No Frills Inn

If you are looking for a relatively inexpensive clean place to lay your head at night, this hotel hits the spot. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was not only courteous but friendly as well. The continental breakfast in the morning had good selections. You won’t be disappointed.

Nice hotel for the price.

Clean room, good location to the parks, excellent free breakfast with plenty of seating. Would go back again. Only wished they would have changed the bed sheets daily like the sign on the laundry cart said to do.

Good Hotel.

Slightly above average hotel but great location for anything in Williamsburg on a very quiet road. Decent breakfast. Superior price for what you get. I would stay again.

Just fine for the price

Stayed at the hotel for an overnight before Busch Gardens. The price was right. The hotel was closest to the park, but farthest from many dining options in the area. The guest clerk gave me very confusing directions to the restaurant area and we got a little lost! (Bought a Garmin since this trip!) The room was clean, the beds were so-so as far as comfort. There was a well attended breakfast buffet that included make your own waffles and microwave bacon and sausage along with healthy, usual options. My son accidentally left his shoes. We called and they did locate them. We asked to have them shipped and gave all the info but after not receiving them for a week I called and they still have not been sent! In summary, it was fine for a night but I’m not sure I would stay much longer!

Great Hotel, Great Staff

My Wife and I have stayed in Williamsburg in the past at other hotels and this was the best we ever stayed in. It’s a great hotel for a traveling family. Busch Gardens and Water Country are very close(within a mile I think) and all the other attractions are pretty close too. Our 3 year old had the time of her life. The room was clean and the bathroom looked newly renovated. We would definitely stay again. If your planning on going to water country and busch gardens this is the closest clean comfortable hotel.

Traveler's tip on dining

Eat at local restaurants instead of chains. The food is so great. We went to Aberden Barn(steak), Whaling Company(seafood), Hog Wild Smokehouse(great bbq) Casa De Mayo(mex) . I gained 5 lbs but it was so worth it. Williamsburg is a great trip!

good value

Parking lot needs some maintenance and added landscaping would be nice. Too many table and chairs in the breakfast area. Well balanced breakfast choices and served fresh.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

Great location for Williamsburg, wide selection of resturants, Bush Garden and Water Country.

Would definetly stay here again.

Hotel was clean, staff friendly and the breakfast great. There are eggs, toast, bagels, cereal, sausage, bacon, Krispy Kreme doughnuts, juices, etc.Try to get there before 8 AM, after that is when alot of families with children come and then it gets crowded. This hotel is close to Busch Gardens, Colonial World, restaurants and shopping.

Great Location, Good Hotel

This was a very nice hotel for a 3 star. The lobby was immaculate and the staff was very courteous. The breakfast was a little above average for this type of hotel, but of course the menu was the same every day. The pool was average and there was no Jacuzzi. Great location if you are visiting Busch Gardens.

Traveler's tip on local attractions

This hotel is perfectly situated for a visit to Busch Gardens, which is just a couple miles right down the street. It is a little outside of Williamsburg, but it is still close enough to be convenient for restaurants and Colonial Williamsburg.

Not worth the money

I was not very happy with the condition of this hotel. Housekeeping would not even make my bed completely. Food wasn’t too bad. Better off somewhere else.

Great Hotel

Excelent hotel! it is near to all attractions..they offer continental breakfast which was good. I would definitely stay there again! The laundry service came in handy.

Traveler's tip on dining

I don’t recommend Red Lobster on Richmond Rd...bad food. I do recommend South of the Border a mexican restaurant which was affordable and the food was great (0n 2nd street).

Location was great, beds weren’t very comfortable. Would recommend only for the location

Hotel location was great. I didn’t like that I was charged extra for two adult children even though the room already included two queen size beds. It was OK, but for the price, I thought the beds would be more comfortable than they were

Close to Busch Gardens and Historic Williamsburg

Our two day stay was comfortable. The hotel location was very convenient to restaurants, Historic Williamsburg and the outlet shopping area. Continental breakfast was a plus but you have to be early.

Would stay again

I would stay at this hotel again because of the price. Most of the time you’re just there to sleep. The rooms were a bit dated. They could do with some new tubs and flooring in the bathrooms. Our first room there was an air conditioning problem as no matter how temp we set it at it was always stuffy and warm. We were able to switch rooms and that air system was much better! The staff was friendly. The breakfast was good. However, I wasn’t crazy about having the bacon and sausage in the refrigerator and we had to microwave it if we wanted it. Everything else was good.

Good Stay

Clean and comfortable base to visit Williamsburg, service was good, nice light breakfast. Do have to drive for dinner places, but not too far out of the way. Kids enjoyed the pool.
