Great location, good hotel
Half block to buorbon street but still Quiet, Couldnt ask for a better location. Hotel pretty good, friendly and helpful staff, fairly well maintained for an inexpensive hotel. If you require Hilton style luxury , probably not for you. If you like old hotels with a litte character this is a good choice. Parking aprox $30 per night which seems to be standard for French Quarter. Parking was valet but on site. So so continental breakfast was included.
Get out of the Quarter by taking trolley through Garden District along St Charles. Magazine street has great antique shops and dining and is walkable from St charles trolley.

Good Value!
The location was good because it was close to the French Quarter "action" without being right on Bourbon St. It was quiet! The hotel staff was OK, but not as friendly as others have commented in their reviews. The only negative to the room was a tiny bathroom!
