Been there twice, would definitely go back

The Trafalgar is conveniently located within two blocks of Leicester Square and the same to Picidilly Circus. Numerous restaurants, shows, and shops abound, and all within walking distance. Covent Gardens is also nearby. The National Gallery is around the corner. The Hotel is clean, confortable and the service is superb. The restaurant is great, as is the bar. The staff are very friendly and very willing to help. The conceriege is very knowledgeable of the area. We strongly suggest you consider the Trafalgar. The room rates are comparable for the area.

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

The Trafalgar is very convenient for all your travel needs and is conveniently located for all your vacation plans.

Very impressed

We stayed 5 days and the hotel was great. The staff was very friendly. The location is amazing. Close to the tube and many downtown hot spots. We would stay here again for the same price

Traveler's tip on dining

We didnt eat at the hotel but there is no shortage of restaurants near by. Everything from coffee shops to Chinese/ Thai to traditional English food is with in walking distance

Great Location

The location of this hotel is excellent for anyone wanting to be in the middle of everything London. Also, the included breakfast helps if you’re American, as our dollars aren’t going quite as far these days. The chairs in the dining room were awful though, as they make an incredible noise when moved and the staff seemed immune to it. Makes for difficulty in conversations... The main reason I would stay there again is the beds are the most comfortable I have experienced in years. You will definitely sleep well, a must for weary travelers!

Royal Trafalgar is right in the heart of the capital !

Leceister square is like 100 yards away ! Lovely pubs with british ambience, actually saw Mulder and Scully X FILE stars as the movie PREMIER was happeneing in front of my eyes ! Tube is very close, the room service keeps your room spic and span clean ! Right on Piccadily line so direct access to Londons Heathrow Airport ! Dont book breakfast, better breakfast shop right infront of the hotel ! u can pick and choose what you want to eat on each day !

Perfect Location!!!

I really enjoyed this hotel. Despite the fact that the air conditioning and the television were not working. You will have to bring a fan or open the window. It was a little cramped but somewhat comfortable. The room came with a closet and pants press, electrical outlets in multiple locations, comfortable beds, and maid service everyday. The staff was friendly and helpful with directions. The location is perfect for the partygoer although it is a more older crowd in the hotel. You are within walking distance of all the clubs, pubs, and casinos. Trafalgar and Liescter Squares, Chinatown, SOHO, Picadilly Circus, are all around the corner. There is also a McDonalds, KFC, Burger King, and Pizza Hut 100 yards away. I recommend this hotel.

Traveler's tip on nightlife

Get ready for one of thee most insane nightlife’s I have seen in a while. Bring your A game to this place. It’s like Las Vegas nightclubs outside on the street.

Great location, tiny rooms.

The location is just around the corner from Trafalgar Square and a short walk to Leicester Square. We had a tiny room with 2 single beds, one small 2-drawer chest and a medium size armoire. No closet, no refrig. One of the two elevators did not work so it was either wait or walk up 5 flights of stairs. Bed was very comfortable, flat screen TV was fine. Breakfast was expensive for what you got. There are many other London hotels that do better.

Relative bargin but won’t return

Good location quite near Trafalgar Square and price was less expensive than other local choices. Room had no independent adjustment for temperature and was quite warm for early June. The room was also quite cramped and I had to get on hands and knees and unplug lamp for an electrical outlet for my computer. Wireless internet available.

Stay here!

The Rooms are clean, nicely equipped. The beds are so comfortably that I wish I could have brought mine home. The staff was friendly and helpful and you couldn’t ask for a better location- close to everywhere you want to be. I would absolutely stay here again.

Good location

The location of the hotel is so good (just behind the National Gallery in a fairly quiet street) that I would continue to use this hotel, despite the fact that it is not the best hotel I have stayed in.

Good Location

The hotel is quite good, the rooms and specially the bathrooms are rather small but yet they are still confortable. The hotel service is good, people always answered our questions or assisted us in a rather fast and kind way. The location is probably the best feature of this hotel, just 2 block away of Trafalgar Square. The hotel was rather expensive in comparison with similar hotels in USA, but accommodation is always more expensive in London than any other place, and the location at least compensates the cost in terms of transportation.
