A step back to the 60’s
This hotel was a perfect spot for retirees or a small family looking to save a few bucks. It sits next to a great little family restaurant and a massive gas station. Everything a traveler needs is located in the area. I grew up in the area so I know the history of the hotel fairly well. This property still has a bit of a 1960’s feel to it with a courtyard, outdoor pool, and amenities that remind one of pulling into the driveway in a 1965 El Dorado. Don’t expect fanciness but expect a quality hotel for an affordable price.

The restaurant that sits next to the hotel is called The Dutch Pantry. It serves home-style breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Very affordable for those traveling on a budget.

Never go back
The breakfast offered was less than appetizing. Old fruit, etc. We had to spend more to go out to a restaurant. They also charged us for our child which was not disclosed until we arrived. Too many bad surprises.
