Just Above Normal
Excellent breakfast bar - hotel room was always clean. Front desk staff were very cordial and excited to inform me as to the local establishments when I sasked. Maps and other necessities were offered. Nice place to stay. Close to everything.

Solid, no-frills bargain
HIEs are good solid performers for me. There’s nothing special about them (other than the shower-head, perhaps), but they deliver exactly what they should -- a clean room, a comfy bed, and a good price. The staff at this hotel were quite friendly and helpful - noticeably more than at other midscale hotels I stay in for business. Sometimes I long for room service or more pampering when I travel for work. Knowing that these are not part of the HIE equation, a mini-fridge will work just fine, thanks.
