Cheap and easy
Decent hotel."breakfast" was marginal (powdered eggs, ugh), but otherwise met all my expectations.

Upset
I was very upset with this hotel because I prepaid through Expedia and then was told that I owed seven dollars a day more when I went to check in. After several minutes of discussion I was told the fee was waved. Checking out I again was told that I owed money. This time ten dollars plus tax a day. The hotel was a nice place and I was very happy, but the clerks were rude about this money. It wasn’t that it was alot it was that I had already prepaid. If you decide to book at this hotel just be ready .

Holiday Inn Express - impression
We had never stayed an a Holiday Inn Express. I have always thought that the hotel name was a little unusual. I guess "express" seems better than "budget". However, I did not have the impression that the hotel was budget grade. No, it wasn’t luxurius, but nicer than I was expecting. Why pay for a fancy impressive lobby, etc.? We also were impressed with the quality of the food in their free breakfast.
