convenient location in town

This hotel is a short walk from downtown restaurants, the rooms are fine and reception service was helpful providing good advice on restaurants. Our room was facing the street and traffic might wake you up in the morning.

Lovely Inn

The Parkway Inn is like going to your grandmother’s house. The furnishings are antique and vary from room to room but are all charming. The staff is friendly and helpful and the pool-spa-gym are all top notch. The walk to the square is about 4 or 5 blocks but even at night it feels safe. A great overall experience and a good value for Jackson.

They charge for cribs!

Situated right next to th centre of town, what more could you ask. Hotel was clean and check-in was quick. But they wanted to charge extra for a crib in our room for the baby!!! Breakfast was all right. Overall I would return again, but I wont be asking for a crib next time.

Comfy Bed, Great Location

The beds were quite comfortable and we were able to walk all around town. Breakfast was basic continental - we grabbed a more interesting breakfast at the Jackson Whole Grocer on our way out of town (10-15 min drive from the hotel at 974 West Broadway).

Had a fabulous dinner at Snake River Grill -- particularly enjoyed the elk.

Cute, town center within walking distance

Very cute little place. They had re-done some of the rooms and we upgraded to one of them and it was very nice. They also had a nice workout room and pool, although the hot tub wasn’t very hot. Nice, but limited breakfast. Within walking distance of shopping and restaurants. We would stay there again, although we seemed to be the only ones with children there.

Snake River Brewery was recommended and it was very good for dinner--probably about a 6 block walk.

Great stay!

Hotel was beautiful. Loved the victorian decor. Very comfortable, clean & quiet. Although we had a little bit of trouble navigating the town and got turned around a few times, the hotel was actually located close to center of town and within easy walking distance of shops & restaurants. Would definitely stay there again.

Really enjoyed our stay

Really confortable and convenient small hotel. Staff was very nice and hospitable. Our room was great. Breakfast is a nice touch. Although we certainly did not have this problem, I heard someone checking out complaining about noise from adjoining room and "thin walls."

Comfortable and great location

This hotel is within walking distance to many popular Jackson Hole attractions. The staff was very friendly and our room was big and very comfortable. Only complaint we had was they wouldn’t extend our checkout time.

There is an excellent, casual BYOB Thai restaurant a few blocks to the east of the hotel.

Wish I was there !

It is downtown and within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. This helps because parking can be difficult to find in the downtown area. The room was really clean and everything we needed plus an inside and an outside door making things more convenient. We would definitely stay at Parkway again!

Traveler's tip on getting the most out of your stay

Stay in town. Otherwise, involves a lot of time searching for a parking spot. My husband and I have never seen a more beautiful place than the Grand Tetons. Wish I was back there again!!!!!

Close to Yellowstone

Nice area, rooms are nice and rustic. Good for a night, to little for a week.

Recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful room

This hotel is very distinctive and beautiful. We were surrounded by antiques and flowers and quilts and crystal. Even the Lord and Mayfair shampoo and lotions provided matched the beauty of the room and the hotel. The staff was also courteous and helpful. My only caution would be lack of an elevator (at least not one pointed out to us).

Go to the Miller’s cabin which is historically preserved. It was a fun and interesting place to visit.

The wife and I would like to go back next week If we could. And stay longer.

We ask one of the hotel employees were was a good place to eat after we check in. We try all the ones she say that she like doing the week that we were there and all were very good.

Convenient and reasonable

No complaints. Reasonable room, comfortable and we had a room that you had a door to the street and to the interior of the hotel. Stayed there Fourth of July night and had full view of the fireworks from our room window.

Sidewinders sports bar and grill has a very large and diverse menu and is reasonably priced.

I would stay here again.

We had the cottage and it was very big for a hotel room. Everything was clean and in good repair. The TVs were pretty small. It was a cozy atmosphere. I would recommend this hotel to others and I would stay there again.

This hotel was within walking distance of the square and all of the shopping and fine restaurants.

charming place

We will stay there again when in town as long as the price remains as reasonable. It is very charming, which was much appreciated! The location in town and across from a playground is perfect. The continental breakfast even had some health options, unlike at many hotels.

Do not choose Parkway Inn in you package

Over all the hotel was about average, but be ware and do not select it as part of package. If you do than you might get stuck with room that is lower quality, not upgraded. Do not ask front desk receptionist for good place to eat in town or you will get stuck with one of the expensive place. Do you self a favor and look in the map available at the tourist information an you will enjoy good food at good price.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

The map provided by the town does not show large chain stores such as Kmart, Albertsons,... Take short drive around the town and you shall save few bucks. The stores and restaurants around the Town Square are to be avoided if you want to save few bucks. As I said, town is small, drive around and you will be able to buy items similar to the stores around the Town Square and save your self few buck.

Quaint place to relax in Jackson

The room at the Parkway was very quaint filled with beautiful antiques. The bed was very large and comfortable. The bathroom was quite small and the water pressure of the shower left something to be desired, but the room was very clean. The pool and hot tub were small, but very relaxing.

I usually travel for business, so hotels tend to look like generic clones of each other -- and I’d rather be at home. But this place is charming -- all the amenities expected plus a personality.

Convenient and Clean

This hotel is a cross between a Bed & Breakfast and a standard Hotel. The rooms are well kept and the staff is friendly. Nice breakfast set up in the morning. We had a room with two entry doors, one for the parking lot and one to the lobby area. The Inn is older but well maintained. The bed was very comfortable and the Inn was quiet at night. Walking distance to town, and tours can pick you up right in front of the hotel. Great rates booking through Expedia.
