Overall we were very pleased with the condition of the hotel and our room. Great value for the money and the staff was responsive and provided excellent service.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
The location of this hotel is about a 10 minute drive to the tourists spots, pier, USS Lexington and the beach. Bay area is about 5 minutes away and great for fishing.

GREAT EXPERIENCE
I checked in late & they STILL had my room reserved!! The front desk staff & security staff were EXCELLENT! They were courteous from start to finish! I needed an ash tray @ midnight & the Security Guard was kind enough to bring me one even though the front desk person was busy!

Not the best and not the worst
We were looking for a low cost hotel so we could take a vacation, this hotel fit the bill. The price was right and allowed us to go to Corpus and Padre for 4 days. Fifteen minutes to the bay and their beaches, 20 min to the aquarium and Lexington, 25 min to the National Seashore -- very centrally located. Plenty of places nearby to eat. The hotel is older and needs updating, but it was clean, quiet, and the air was COLD!!! The bed was very comfortable. The FREE breakfast was not that great (not much to choose from) but remember, you get what you pay for. I would stay here again.
