Do Not Go Here If You Are Looking to Relax

So Loud, over crowded had to wait 4 hours to get our room. Our rooms smelt like a pet store, as did our sheets. people partying until 6 am. Wall are thin and can hear everything your neighbors say waited 45 mins. to talk to a manager. Worst hotel experience I ever had

Not impressed

The service is very poor at this hotel!! We arrived a couple hours early and no rooms were available; housekeeping did not come to clean the next day until 8pm (by then was too late) so we refused; the pool was too crowded; room above had partiers making noise up to 5:30am,I called to have security stop party, they did not come until an hour later. Not impressed with stay.

Need to decide what they are

Stayed labor day weekend for an escape with my family. The good: Like the design concept retro yet fresh, restaurant is very good and kids eat free promo was great, room was very nice besides the constantly backing up shower that they never fixed despite coming up 4 times, good location if you want to be near downtown. The bad: The main pool looks like a poor man’s Vegas pick up pool, invaded by inland empire young folk, goes into the night with plenty of the public inebriation that goes with that kind of thing. Back pool is small but the only respite for families with kids. I think they want to shift this a little as they just instituted a no smoking, no cooler, no pets policy but they didn’t seem to be enforcing in, including smoking by the pool and they forgot the no 7 adults in a room rule. Low rates due to the economy likely had something to do with this but I hope they either are able to shift their clientele or dissuade families from coming as it can’t work both ways.

Rough around the edges, but hip and edgy

The Room bathroom floor was sticky, the tub didn’t drain, left water rings, no hair shampoo. The bed sheets felt scratchy and actually used. The floor outside the room and in the hallways didn’t look clean and had strong cleanser smells. Even with all the flash, rough around the edges for the price and for a Noble house hotel.

Cant wait to go back !

First of all i have to say the pool is the best! the water is never cold or hot..just perfect! The pool side bar with the waitresses delivering your drinks are great.

Very cool hotel!

Hotel deco is super hip. The pool is awesome especially the fire pits. It definatly has a vegas vibe. We had a few problems but the front desk took care of it and even took off our resort fee the first night. I will be going back to this hotel sometime soon.

Go here if you like to have fun. Not if you like to be asleep by nine. The hotel has a very young approach to it.

Putting your money in the trash.. is a better investment then this hotel...

The hotel was hosting 1000 kids at the time I wanted to say their... The kids really made the hotel very nasty and busy.. the Hotel did nothing about making my stay better, nor did the hotel management wanted to speak to me.. Look up 7 spring.. very nice & cheaper.

I Loved it!

I booked this hotel with pretty low expectations. (Sometimes the web=site looks better than the actual hotel) I would have to say although our overall experience was great. The pool area was beautiful, comfortable and clean, with poolside service. The rooms were clean, funky and modern decor. We never even left the hotel all weekend we did the pool during the day, they had bars and lounges in the hotel at night, even with a DJ. In the main lobby they have nice little nooks where people can hang-out and have a drink, and even a pool table. Totally relaxing environment staff was courteous and friendly. Criticisms: The on-site reteraunt was overpriced and disappointing, they made us wait awhile for our dinner and when it came out it was cooked wrong. Good point though they did offer us a free dessert for the wait. There are no ice machines (that i could find) and you can hear a little bit of noise from your next door neighbor. Overall though it’s a fun place to go hangout and relax and if you want party.

Would not recommend

The staff were not very knowledgable about the hotel services, and hard to get ahold of. $25 extra fee a night was too much. The pool was very filthy, old towels from the entire day sitting around at night, umbrellas and trash all over the pool area with trash in the pool, and bags of planting soil around the edge. The phone was broken and some lights didn’t work. When I got ahold of staff they were kind. Room was clean but the remodel did not look like they took effort and care in the details. I would suggest another hotel that would be worth your money.

RIVIERA ROCKS

This was a last minute stop and I called Expedia and they were able to book the hotel right away within 30 minutes we were checking in. When you walk into this hotel its from another era - very retro and chic! Our room was fabulous!!! The linens were high quality and the room was extemely clean, and you felt like it was clean. I dont like when you feel like you shouldnt take your shoes off in a room this one was GREAT! Everything was modern with a retro feel. Would definitely stay here again!!!

Relaxing and fun

We were very pleased with the service, all employees were attentive. I left my wallet at the pool in the afternoon and only found out 5 hours later. Security returned the wallet to me, all stuff still in there! I think that is rather rare these days! LOVED the hotel - will be back!

fantastic palm springs hotel

this is a great remodel of a classic palm springs hotel. fun and modern. we spent most of our trip at the second of two pools with cabana boys & excellent service. and the food in the restaurants was amazing. there is no reason to leave the resort once you arrive. can’t wait to go back!

Quality or Quantity

The hotel is perfect when is not a holiday weekend because if this happen they prefer quantity no quality..

VERY poor service. They are a new hotel and have a great grounds and the layout is great but service is terrible. Don’t expect Vegas like treatment even though the rooms are very upscale and nicely appointed.

I would go back again.

The Hotel was very nice, trendy, and fun. The hotel staff was friendly, and the decor of the place is pretty cool. The pool area was nice...I enjoyed hanging out by the pool side at night. Finding our room in the beginning was a bit tricky, we were all the way in the back but once we found our way around it wasn’t too bad. Parking our car was easy and we were able to park close to our room which made check out fast and easy.

if you are into art, this is the hotel for you

the place was very modern and well-kept. it is definitely for young people, artsy people. the customer service was not that great but overall, it was a good stay for me. and it is very near to their town

Excellent Hotel

The hotel is very trendy, excellent food, outstanding staff (they’re always going out their way to help). I was very impressed by the quality and variety of music selection, not very usual in american hotels/resorts, make the time spent by the pool, bars and restaurants much more enjoyable.

NOT overall Satisfied

This Resort is a fun place to stay, if you want to mingle with new people. But as a couple or family I found it just a bit LOUD (could be b/c it was memorial day weekend). Although the staff was super friendly I wasn’t fully satisfied. 1) The bed was broken and was never fixed. My fiance and I had to slept in a horizontal position. 2)When we got to our room, there was trash in the trash can, possible missed by housekeeping. 3) We had a room next to the pool gate and it would slam really loud all day. It got annoying after a while! 4) You can’t take your own drinks to the pool area, even if in a plastic cup.

young, fun and hip

I absolutely loved the chic decor of the hotel and the spa was fabulous. I enjoyed the services as some of the best that i have had. Service was another issue. Restaurant was super slow. Just myself and several other couples and I had to wait 10 minutes for coffee, lost our breakfast order. At dinner, we had to ask for water and iced tea refills even to place and order and waiter never came to check on us. Definitely not a well oiled machine in that regard. Had trouble with bath tub and air conditioner in room and management had maintainence there almost immediately. But the tub never got unplugged and the shower head didn’t get replaced so it would spray and the air conditioner’s compressors’ banging was never stopped. No doubt the intention was there but just like the restaurant...no follow through. All in all I would go back because everyone was just so darn nice!

Definitely not a resort

An older hotel that have been very badly refurbished. The visual changes made there, definitely do nor qualify it to be called a resort. Room decoration is very modern but very inpractical: sink is too small and leaking and beds are mounted inside oversize wooden boxes. All of us hit the corners of these wood boxes almost every time we passed by....left the room with knee bruises!!! Swimming pool was crowded with people holding alcoholic drinks and smoking cigarettes inside the pool - definitely not a great environment for young kids.

Not a great environment for traveling with kids. People are allowed in the pool with alcoholic drinks and allowed to smoke while in the pool.

Nothing bad to say

Plush and mod sexy

I stayed at this resort back when I a half baked/ Jeff Spiccoli like teen. What a shocker to find The Riviera smartly updated from the rather nondescript, unmemorable resort where I had anonymous sex in a bush maybe 30-years ago. Great room. Terrific poolside scene. Even better poolside bar; let the bartenders drive (choose/pour). They’re without doubt pros. All-around a great experience. Looking forward to taking my gal next time for some deep decmopression.
