A COMPLETE PACKAGE
WE ENJOYED OUR STAY. LOCATED IN A QUIETER AREA, BUT CLOSE TO ACADIA NATIONAL PARK, AND A 20 MINUTE DRIVE TO BAR HARBOR. HAS EVERYTHING YOU NEED. INCLUDED FULL BREAKFAST FROM THE RESTAURANT DIRECTLY DOWNSTAIRS WAS WONDERFUL. WE ALSO ATE A LUNCH AND DINNER THERE AND IT WAS GREAT ALSO. THIS IS THE PLACE FOR SOME PEACEFUL RELAXATION WITH ACTION CONVENIENTLY LOCATED NEARBY.

A Crown Jewel!
Colonel’s Suites is an emaculate establishment. Located above a wonderful bakery and Restaurant. The staff was wonderfull, helpful, accomodating and relaxed. We checked in at the bakery and they had our room key all ready for us. I could not resist the amazing pastry. If you like macaroons they are great! We parked around back and went up to the most perfect room! Everything was pristine...thoughtfully furnished with all the mod cons. After two days of camping in Acadia this was the perfect finish to our trip. After a nice walk though the village and harbor, we had dinner at the Colonels restaurant. The food was excellent, My wife who had some dietary restrictions was well taken care of. The waitstaff, of course was top notch. After a great nights sleep we went down for breakfast and again everything was amazing. The owner made it a point to see us to make sure we were well taken care of... I highly recommend Colonel’s Suites and will definitly stay again. Simply outstanding!

Very Clean, Recent Remodel, but I wouldn’t call it a hotel.
The colonel’s suites is a nice mix between a BnB and a traditional hotel. The suites are located on the top floor of a family run bakery and breakfast shop. In fact, we checked in at the bakery counter! Located in quiet Northeast Harbor, away from the tourist congestion, it is a short 10 mile drive to Bar Harbor. Very convenient location for hikers and bikers. The suites appear to be brand new or recently remodeled. Everything in the living room and bedroom is brand new, fresh and clean. We were quite impressed! I would recommend it to anyone, as long as you are self-sufficient and not a night owl.
Traveler's tip on local attractions
If you like flowers and plants, don’t miss the Asticou Terraces. Plus it makes a nice walk with fantastic views of Northeast Harbor.
